2. Complete the necessary payment.

Validity:

• Residents 21 years and above: Emirates ID valid for up to 10 years.

• Residents under 21: Emirates ID valid for up to 5 years.

Previously, UAE Nationals had to submit extensive documentation, including personal details and passport-sized photos. The new system reduces this administrative burden, saving valuable time.

Note: Foreign residents continue to follow the standard protocol for Emirates ID renewal.
